3 Days/2 nights Ngorongoro Crater

This 3 day safari features only Ngorongoro Crater, a true wonder of the natural world, famous for its sunken caldera formed over a million years ago. The crater is inhabited in harmony by indigenous Maasai and their livestock, as well as a startling variety of plant, animal and birdlife species. Accommodation is at Ngorongoro Serena Lodge.

Luxury lodges start from 2 pax as private and 5 pax as a minimum.
Departures: Daily, subject to group availability.

Day 1. Arusha/Ngorongoro
Lunch at Impala Hotel Arusha then proceed to Ngorongoro crater rim. Dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro Serena Lodge.

Day 2. Ngorongoro
After breakfast, take picnic lunch boxes with you and descend into the crater floor for a full day tour. Return to Ngorongoro Serena Lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3. Arusha/Out
Depart after breakfast and drive back to Arusha. Lunch will be at Impala Hotel.

Prices:
Peak season (February, July, August & October)- $322 USD per person per day
High season (January, March, June, September, November & December)- $402 USD per person per day
Low season (April & May)- $280 USD per person per day

Seasons
1. High Season: 16 Dec 2008 - 31 March 2009; 01 July - 15 Dec 2008
2. Low Season: 01 April - 30 June 2009

Prices include:
- Transportation in a custom safari vehicle (minibus or 4 x 4 ).
- Services of a trained experienced English speaking driver/guide
- Fullboard accommodation in the lodge based on double/twin sharing
- Park/crater entry fee

Not included:
- International air transportation to and from Nairobi
- Expenses of a personal nature such as visa, travel/buggage insurance, laundry, beverages, tips etc.
